Women at HIMSS Coffee Walk

Hosted by Dr. Sarah Inman from Improv

HIMSS is a huge conference and going at it alone can feel overwhelming. That is exactly why Improv and I are hosting our very first Women at HIMSS Coffee Walk, and I'd love for you to join us!

What's a Coffee Walk, you ask?

Just easy (free!) networking with like-minded women looking to meet others before the conference officially kicks off. We will meet at Cafe Lola at Caesars Palace, grab a coffee (or your beverage or choice), and take a relaxed walk through the property together. Nothing formal or awkward, just real conversation, some people watching, and a chance to ease into the week with other women who are there to learn and connect.

  • When: Monday, March 9th - 11:00-12:30

  • Where: Cafe Lola in the Ceasar's Palace Forum Shops

  • What: Grab a coffee, walk through Ceasar's, network, and make some connections before the event kicks off!

A Bit About the "Why"

When you attend a conference alone, it is easy to bounce from session to session without ever finding your people. A simple coffee and walk creates space to meet women who share your world, trade stories, exchange contact info, and decide which sessions or expo hall stops you want to tackle together. The person you meet in that first hour might become the one you text when a session runs long, the colleague you sit with in a keynote, or the familiar face that makes a crowded room feel more comfortable.

If you are a first-time attendee, arriving solo, or simply ready to expand your network in a way that feels natural and low-pressure, this is for you! Come grab a coffee, walk with us through Caesars, and start HIMSS with a small circle of women who will save a seat for you, wave you over across the expo hall or lunch room, and make the week feel a little more grounded.

This is the first year we are doing this and plan to make it an annual tradition, and I would love to meet you there!
